Last night I hit my device, making the screen go dark. I tried reconnecting the display port, but nothing showed up, so I restarted the computer which seemed to solve the problem. After that, opening Brave took a long time and games didn’t start. I opened Task Manager to close everything, but it still had delays and blank icons, becoming unresponsive. Eventually, I ran a Windows repair using DISM and sfc commands; the latter fixed some corrupt files, though the issue remained. I also checked startup programs and saw XAMPP running. Closing the servers helped a bit. I removed XAMPP now to test further. My system details are: Ryzen 5 7500F, RTX 4070, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD.
