Consider testing with a fresh installation. Launch CMD with admin rights and execute the commands while online. Run SFC /SCANNOW to check and repair files. Use DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth to assess health, then follow up with DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Restart the PC afterward.
I own a Ryzen 5 1600X and faced similar speed problems. I blamed the Ryzen Master software, but every time I reinstalled it, my performance dropped noticeably. A clean Windows installation would have been better than just removing it.
I haven't been testing it on OCR for several months, but sadly the issue still exists. I'm sure OCR and stock share the same problems as well.
Hey @aDoomGuy, I tested your advice but it didn’t show any issues. I’m going to clear my drive and set up a new Windows installation tomorrow, hoping everything works out.
Please verify everything on your OS drive before wiping it, just in case you want to retain any data. The main folders are: C:\Users\EChondo\Desktop, C:\Users\EChondo\Downloads, C:\Users\EChondo\Documents, and C:\Users\EChondo\AppData (typically where Minecraft saves are stored). I hope the reinstall goes smoothly and works well.
Apologies if it wasn't useful, wish you success with the reinstall. Don't forget to back up your data and clear any overclock/XMP settings.
