Hey everyone, I've been noticing some odd stuttering and a general slowdown in my PC. It seems to have started around the time I swapped out my wraith spire for a silverstone aio about two months ago. Before that upgrade, the system could handle over 150 frames per second in competitive games, but now it frequently stutters and drops to low scores. Cities Skylines used to run smoothly at around 45 frames when zoomed in, but now it's plagued by consistent lag and dips down to 20-30. I have some ideas about what might be causing this, but I really need your insights to get to the bottom of it. I was thinking maybe the RAM is struggling or Windows is just a bit sluggish (though it didn’t show up as a thermal issue). The performance drops can be pretty noticeable and are getting frustrating. Thanks in advance for any help!

It seems the mount isn't performing well, and the temperature is high. Adjust the RAM to 3000.

Sure, I'm here to help. For budget-midrange options, consider RAM modules in the 4-16GB range that fit your system's socket. Look for reputable brands like Crucial or Kingston, and check reviews for reliability.

I think it's time to start fresh with Windows. Make sure your system is running smoothly, drivers are current, and hardware isn't failing. If you have extra storage, perform a clean install, set up LoL, run tests, and proceed from there. If issues persist, there might be a hardware problem.

Focus on getting it running. Try again for an OC.

I considered a fresh update, as it resolved some issues from last year. Appreciate the idea!

It reached around 80% at 3.8/1.35v, though I haven't fully tested it on the stock. I'll run a stress test and update you.

This suggests the system is nearing its maximum capacity.

Hey! I tested Aida64 for around 30 minutes at 3.2 (stock). The peak temperatures reached were 49°C and 57Mobo. I don’t see any major issues with those numbers.

No, stocks face different challenges compared to other assets.
