My PC shuts down prior to gaming, while the system remains operational except for the GPU load light ceasing. The fan accelerates during this event. I initially attempted a 600VA UPS, which allowed gaming but caused PSU overload. A subsequent 900VA UPS failed to function until I connected the power supply directly to a wall outlet, only for it to stop working after approximately an hour. Is this indicative of a PSU issue?

Build:
RX Vega 64
MSI B450-A Pro
600B EVGA PSU
5 3600 DDR4 4x4gb 3000 MHz TeamForce RAM

Generally, when I observe this type of issue, my initial focus is on the power supply and temperatures. Have you checked your temperatures? I am strongly suspecting the power supply because this card requires a significant amount of power, and even Radeon advises a 750-watt PSU minimum.

It is unlikely to be temporary because the issue occurs immediately upon turning on my computer, where I test it by opening a game and experiencing the problem.

You lack the power supply recommended by AMD for your graphics card. Begin with a replacement unit providing at least 750 watts. If the problem persists, investigate your antivirus software; some brands can disrupt application performance, and multiple programs may cause issues. Limit yourself to two firewalls – Windows Defender and Malwarebytes are sufficient, excluding your modem’s built-in firewall.

My PC frequently shuts off, a problem that’s persisted for three weeks. I've attempted to resolve this by replacing the power supply and adding an uninterruptible power supply. My system specifications are as follows: AMD Ryzen 3600, Vega 64 graphics card, B450-A Pro motherboard, 16GB of 3000MHz Team Force RAM, and a Corsair 850x power supply connected to a 900v UPS. The shutdowns typically occur while loading games, with the PC lights and fans remaining active but the GPU load indicator disappearing. After installing a new PSU, it shut down at the login screen. I require assistance as I have been unable to use my computer for weeks.

What is the power supply unit's make and model? What are the CPU and GPU temperatures? Which version of BIOS is installed? Which chipset drivers are installed?

Corsair RM 850x PSU. I haven’t checked temperatures, but I don't believe it is temperature-related; I will test immediately upon powering on the PC. Yes, all drivers and software are updated, and I will ensure this. I am currently resetting the PC entirely, possibly including BIOS settings.
