My computer powers up but the external devices don’t work.
This afternoon the system operated well, yet upon returning home and attempting to start it, no display appeared and all devices failed to activate. It’s important to note that one of the PCI slots was already non-functional at the time of purchase. Could the motherboard be completely defective? I took out the RAM modules, cleaned them, and removed the CMOS battery, but nothing resolved the problem. The system still boots normally, yet the mentioned issues remain unresolved. The situation occurred unexpectedly.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! What are the specifications of the peripherals you're referring to? MSI B550-A motherboard

Does this match your system? If yes, your motherboard features a Flash BIOS Button on its back. Check your manual for instructions on page 50 or follow this guide to try updating the BIOS and potentially revive your platform; View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYL88wjbmbI
Thanks for your reply. Basically, you've got a wifi adapter connected, an XRFy mouse, a Hyperx Cloud 2 headset, and a basic keyboard. The adapter was showing green signals whenever the PC powered up, but now it's not doing anything. I'm wondering if this is normal or something more unusual.
I also have a B550-A-Pro and might try this method again. But I don't understand why it stops working in the afternoon and then fails completely by evening.
