My computer powers up but shows no output on the screen and shuts itself down right away
Hi there,
I'm just starting out and have been facing this issue for a while now.
It started when I left my PC to go on summer vacation.
When I returned, the computer wouldn't boot up at all.
It powers on but doesn't show anything—even basic options like American Megatrends don't appear.
Sometimes it shuts off after a few seconds or minutes.
I think the CPU might be overheating because the heatsink feels hot to the touch and turns off instantly without any warning.
This has happened again recently, especially on Christmas, but I still don’t understand why.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
