My computer occasionally fails to power on.
my pc functioned normally until the issue began. when turning it off and trying to restart the next day, sometimes it fails to power on completely—no electricity, no fan noise, only the mouse and keyboard LEDs light up. this occurs unpredictably, sometimes after waiting an hour before attempting to turn it back on. the problem has persisted for a few months, with no clear solution found so far. i have tried several fixes such as replacing the psu, changing the cmos battery, updating bios, using a different power outlet, but nothing resolves the issue. anyone have any suggestions?
are you using windows 10?
it shouldn't affect things much, but you might want to disable fast startup and check if that helps.
