Following an hour or so of playing games on my fairly powerful gaming computer (an i7-8700k with a 5700xt), it frequently crashes, either displaying a blue screen or causing both of my monitors to turn black, though they don’t completely shut off—they simply flicker back to life. Restarting consistently resolves the problem. After each restart, a specific application named cm-blackhawk is always running in the background, and I’m unable to close it. Occasionally, while gaming at any difficulty level, I experience stuttering—my frame rate dips from 144 to around 30 for a brief second every thirty seconds or so. I have installed the newest AMD drivers and Windows version, and my component temperatures are within acceptable ranges, even when I lessen the game’s intensity. However, these issues persist regardless. Notably, a complete system reset also failed to resolve the situation.
