I recently assembled a custom PC and it doesn’t function properly. The motherboard indicator lights up but then turns off after just two seconds. I’ve replaced the power supply three times yet it still doesn’t work. After swapping in my RAM and GPU, the issue persists. I’ve been trying to fix it for a while but haven’t found the problem. I built it overnight and when I opened it this morning it didn’t start at all. Here are my specifications: CPU – Ryzen 5 5600x, RAM – 2x8 Tforce, SSD – Crucial p3+, GPU – AMD 6600 challenger, PSU – gamemax 750w ATX 3.0, cooler – stock, case – gamdias aura gaming RGB midtower white.

If the PC shuts down right away, it might mean a CPU thermal shutdown occurred. The type of thermal paste used and the method of application were likely factors in this situation.
