My computer is showing a black screen and I don't understand what's happening. Please help!
I've used this machine for two years and it has recently turned black.
I own this machine for two years now, and it has been showing a black screen for about four to five months, mainly when playing games like OW2, CS2, and BF5. The crashes happen in two ways: the screen goes black instantly while the system is still active, or the screen turns black and then the computer restarts. I've already asked for advice on a Windows forum, mentioning the GPU logs and sending minidump files. I thought it might be related to the GPU, so I ran a Furmark benchmark, but everything worked fine. Still, I went ahead and warranty the GPU, suspecting overheating memory at high temperatures. The GPU was sent to Taiwan for further testing, but no issues were found.
While waiting, I used my built-in CPU graphics to play games without black screen (using low settings).
I'm still puzzled about what's wrong with my setup and would appreciate your guidance.

- Memtest86
- Replacing SSDs
- Reinstalling the system
