My computer is not using my graphics card when I watch YouTube in quality.
For some reason, no browser uses my graphics card to speed up decoding YouTube videos in high quality. I tested both my Intel HD 5500 and AMD Radeon R5 M330 cards, but they still only run at about 2% performance while the video lags badly. The hardware acceleration option is turned on. Any help would be great!
VP9 is a video codec that lets you stream high-quality 4K movies or videos without needing special apps. You can use it to watch live TV or on-demand shows because the technology is simple and fast. It runs well on both mobile phones and computers, so you don't need fancy gear to enjoy great picture quality.
I've tried using an extension called h264ify, but it just deletes all the quality options like 4K instead of keeping them.
it looks like you are missing a feature for high quality pictures called 4k.
