Hello,

I'm experiencing difficulties with my computer for an extended period. The problem is that video games frequently halt, particularly when firing or being targeted by opponents. I’m also playing at a reduced resolution of 1024x768 on CS:GO with minimized graphics settings. My system specifications are as follows:

Intel Core i3-8100
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Gigabyte B360M DS3H motherboard
Crucial Ballistix 2x8GB 2400MHz DDR4 RAM
Seasonic Focus Plus 550W 80+ Gold power supply
Samsung 860 EVO SSD (250GB)
Toshiba P300 HDD (1TB)
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Monitor: LG 24GM77 (144Hz)

If a game stops working, does restarting the computer fix it, or is it simply a brief pause?

Have you attempted to reinstall both the game and your operating system to rule out software issues related to Windows, the game itself, drivers, and other components?

Does your graphics card necessitate an additional power supply via a PCI-e connection? A freezing occurrence while playing suggests the GPU may be malfunctioning, or it could possibly be experiencing insufficient power—even if it receives full power through the PCI-e slot, the motherboard or power supply unit could still be at fault.

It’s just a brief glitch. I did reinstall the game and Windows as well. Interestingly, I replaced my power supply two days ago, and even before that change, it was also freezing.
