Hi everyone,

My Windows 10 laptop is really slow now. I already ran a recovery, but it didn’t fix the issue. I don’t have a USB drive with the installer, so I’m a bit stuck. I also avoid visiting inappropriate sites. Could anyone give me some advice? Thanks.

This might address your performance problem. To understand how it's functioning, a little research is needed. Your hardware details would be useful (CPU, storage, RAM). It's a good idea to open the Task Manager first to check for CPU usage or memory consumption. If nothing stands out, consider using third-party applications such as HWInfo and HWMonitor.

Additionally, type the command perfmon /rel in the Run box; this will initiate the Reliability Monitor. After it is created, take a screenshot of the report once it's ready.

Hi Max,
Sure! Could you share some details about your laptop? I’d like to know the brand and model, the CPU type, whether it has a hard disk or an SSD, and the amount of RAM. Thanks!
Best,
tecknot
