Hi, I got a Gigabyte B450M H board. I overclocked my Ryzen 3 3300G up to 4ghz and saved the settings, but now the PC won't turn on. I took out the CMOS battery and reset everything, then it works perfectly if I skip BIOS options. But every time I go into the BIOS, it still doesn't POST. All my fast boot, fan control, and overclocking stuff is in there, and updating one part at a time hasn't fixed it. I don't want to mess with updates because even resetting just keeps me stuck until I reset again. What else can I try?

Just make sure everything is zero and it won't change anymore. You're safe with that now.

Bios settings must be balanced. Just bumping speeds and not the supporting voltages or amperages etc can and does create instability, and bios will revert (default is 3 attempts) back to last known 'good' settings. It's one of the hazards of OC. I know of a 3200G, a 3400G or a 3300x, but not a 3300G. Can make a difference if it's a G and you OC the cpu side without balancing the gpu side and you are using the igpu. I'd strongly recommend you read up a lot on OC of your cpu, and bios updates are pretty straightforward now, bios usually will do it for you pretty much. Just follow directions exactly.

Yeah sorry, it's a 3200G chip. It is running at 4ghz. I left the voltage box blank and don't know if the CPU gets zero volts or if the BIOS decides that myself. Do you think what voltage I need to set the CPU so it can handle 4ghz? Also, when I'm in the overclocking menu, I can't type decimals like .0 or .5. The voltage has to be a whole number (1, 2, 3). Thanks for replying.

Just wait, no need to stress. Set everything to zero and you're good. It stays that way if you do it right.
