My computer frequently shuts down and restarts while I’m playing video games.
A short while ago, I purchased The Division and my computer immediately crashed when I began playing. I ran a virus scan to check for infections, discovering that I had some present, so I removed them. Consequently, I uninstalled The Division to reclaim storage space. However, now my computer consistently restarts whenever I attempt to play any game – not just The Division itself. I’ve tried various games, including World of Warcraft, Vermintide 1, and others. My new computer is scheduled to arrive in a week, but this situation is perplexing. I've updated all my drivers, yet the problem persists; nothing seems to resolve it.
Need full system specs, including make/model of the power supply. You could also be overheating causing a shutdown.
