My computer frequently experiences game failures. These crashes are not consistent or frequent, but I consistently encounter them more often than other people with similar PCs. The errors usually involve "D3D" or result in complete system failures linked to my graphics card’s drivers, despite me regularly updating them. Additionally, I've observed that games aren’t achieving high frame rates even when configured with reduced settings—I am unsure whether this is due to an outdated graphics card or my processor, and I’m questioning if a defective component might be the issue.

Hardware Specifications:
AMD Ryzen 5 1500X Quad-core Processor, 3.5GHz
Memory: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB (2x8)
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB of VRAM
Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)

Could it be overheating? Check with MSI Afterburner to observe your graphics card’s performance. Have you attempted to remove the NVIDIA drivers entirely and reinstall them? If so, consider utilizing DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to eliminate any remaining driver files.

I will begin at DDU, and I’m not particularly concerned about the temperature problem because my computer never feels warm, but I will investigate that as well.
