During my time in lockdown, I chose to spend some time playing video games. Consequently, I bought Injustice 2 and The Division 2. My computer’s specifications are suitable for both titles, and I verified this using systemrequirementslab.com. My hardware configuration is as follows:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K @ 3.50GHz,
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
RAM: 16 GB
PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 750W
MB: Asus Z170 Pro-Gaming

I frequently encounter frame rate fluctuations – sometimes dropping to 20-30 or even 15 frames per second – which causes brief pauses and stuttering while playing both games, particularly Injustice 2, despite its lower system demands. The Division 2 generally runs more consistently at a stable frame rate. These drops in performance typically happen during sudden or rapid events within the game, such as a character moving at high speed, an explosion occurring, during cutscenes, or even while simply walking. I’ve ensured I have the newest graphics drivers installed through GeForce Experience and I close all unnecessary applications before gaming to prevent overloading my processor. My computer case has excellent ventilation, maintaining stable temperatures and airflow levels.

Using GPU-Z, examine the "bus interface" area; it ought to display “PCIe x 16 3.0.” Following that, after the symbol (“@”), you’ll see the present operating mode. Click on the question mark (? ) beside that, and a rendering test window will open. Initiate the test, and the text after the "@" should update to reflect what you just saw. You may be prompted to download and install any necessary DirectX 9 files—please do so if requested.

I completed each of your instructions meticulously. The "Bus Interface" initially displayed “PCIe x 16.3 @ 16.3,” yet I proceeded with the test, which took a prolonged period and ultimately required me to terminate it myself. During the process, I observed a bus interface load of approximately 40%, though I’m uncertain whether this holds any significance. Attempting to play the game again resulted in identical problems, particularly noticeable during cutscenes in Injustice 2, where frame rates plummeted to 20 fps. This is incredibly disappointing, especially given the system’s expected high performance for these titles.
