My sibling uses his computer with these specifications: a Ryzen 5 3600 processor, a Noctua NH-L9a cooler, an 8GB KLEVV Kras X RAM stick, and a GTX 1660 InWinA1 case that comes with the PSU. About two weeks ago we upgraded from a Ryzen 3 3100 and GTX 1070 to these current parts. Since then, the second RAM slot isn’t working. I cleaned the CPU socket, reset the CMOS, and cleaned the memory slots, but nothing fixed it. It would boot with just one stick, so we decided to save for a new motherboard while we suspected the motherboard was the issue. Recently, there was a brief power cut lasting about 15 seconds, and everything powered back up right away. We couldn’t disconnect all devices because we were in the middle of a game, which surprised us since the power went out so fast. After that, his PC won’t boot at all. The RGB lights come on, fans spin, but the CPU fan starts then stops around the 15-second mark. It tries again briefly but shuts off after a few seconds. I let it sit for a while, and when I restarted it, the same problem happened. I searched online for possible fixes, thinking it might be the motherboard or the PSU now. What I did: reset the CMOS, changed power cords, swapped RAM sticks, checked connections, but nothing worked. Could this mean the motherboard failed during the outage? Thanks in advance for any advice!

It seems you're referring to the Gigabyte B450i Aorus Pro with Wi-Fi. Let me know if you'd like details about its specifications, features, or usage!

Hey everyone! The PC started up once, got into Windows, but when I tried to shut it down it stopped working again. Any possible causes for this issue?
