Hello, community. My Arctic Freezer 3 Pro 360 has these scratches on the CPU block. Is it safe to use it like this? I only installed it once, but now I'm cleaning and noticed these marks. They appear on the screw edges.

Are those marks present? Do you really think about the warranty? Any changes you make might impact it. Personally, if those marks show up, I’d smooth them out again. Still, doing it yourself is quite a task. You could just replace it and check the temperature. If everything looks good, go ahead. Likely it’ll be fine.

I'm mainly concerned about the possibility of water seeping onto the CPU. Those marks suggest a potential leak risk? If not, I don't mind much. The temperatures were okay.

These indicators don't pose a risk regarding leaks. It's secure to use them if they aren't too thick.

They look like the CPU and thermal paste are exerting pressure. If it isn’t a problem, I’m fine with it. (The marks won’t come out with alcohol)

I would utilize it because it would give me a sense of security.
