Hi, I'm just starting with PC optimization and I'm looking for guidance. Some users mention they have older systems with similar settings but still achieve around 170 FPS. While 120 FPS is fine, I want to learn more about my hardware and why it feels CPU-intensive with a weak GPU.

The game demands a lot of CPU power, particularly during Invasion. The driver you're using conflicts with MW2, but a fix was released yesterday that resolves flashing and micro stuttering. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/...ion-526.61 Benchmarks are poor for multiplayer, with performance fluctuating greatly based on mode and map. Consider skipping Ultra Performance DLSS.

Three PCs produced different outcomes at 1080p with maximum settings. One ran on a 7950x display, another on a 5700g RTX3090, and the third used an A770 5900x with an RX6900xt.

I mentioned building this machine a few years back and added some CPU and GPU upgrades, but I’m aware it’s still running at its most basic level. I’m not sure which programs to install or if I need to configure the hardware properly in the BIOS.

Your work is acceptable. The results look good when compared with my R9 3900X and RTX 3060ti at 1440p. I experience a bit lower FPS, and the GPU doesn’t reach full usage since the CPU often limits performance above 120 FPS.

Your CPU usage is high at 98%, while your GPU is barely active at 1%. This suggests the GPU might not be sufficient for your workload, or your CPU could be struggling under the load.

The issue appears to be related to software. Your VRAM usage stays below 3.89GB, but at 1440p you should be using the full 8GB available. I mean, I can handle up to 8GB at 1080p.
