Hey there... I recently switched from a Ryzen 7 2700X with 16GB DDR4 to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and an RTX 3080 paired with 32GB DDR4 RAM. Since then, my performance has been around 10 to 60 FPS in the main menu, and in-game it stays consistent at about 20 FPS, sometimes reaching up to 40 when I'm lucky. I've adjusted the thread working count for MW2 several times, reinstalled it on a different drive, and applied all pending driver updates. It's still puzzling me since other games like Valorant, CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, and Escape from Tarkov are running smoothly without issues. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what's going on. Thanks, David.

Your motherboard model is probably something like Z690, B550, or similar. It seems you might need a BIOS update.

I believe I have the Asus B550-A, though I’ll check and let you know once I’m sure.
