I’ve seen others playing Modern Warfare on much weaker systems without any problems, but my PC struggles to run it smoothly for more than a minute. It’s really annoying. Sometimes loading maps is impossible too. I’m wondering if the issue is because I don’t have an SSD where the game is installed. I’ve tried various fixes like adjusting CPU priority, but nothing works. I’m reaching out to this Forum for real assistance! Thanks guys!

Could you check if similar issues appear in other games as well?

No just this game itself.

It seems like you're suggesting a potential solution by reinstalling something.

I operate it from a HDD, 4C8T CPU, at 1080p with a GTX1070. I use a mechanical HDD and haven't experienced any stuttering.
Just an FYI
For those who claim it's the HDD, (it's best to verify drive health, speeds, and fragmentation)
How much RAM is used while playing?
I understand this game will heavily cache data, which might lead to additional problems...

I play the game with medium and high settings, achieving about 100-110 FPS, yet it still freezes and shows a small frame icon frequently.

Did you surpass the VRAM capacity on your GPU while using the settings? In the game, there should be a VRAM indicator. Is it showing red?
