Usually it isn't that big, just kept trying to add mods for Cyberpunk and the Sims but kept deleting and copying them, then forgot to clear my trash.
I'll conduct those CPU tests and set up the drive tools. My storage never gets too full. While working on Cyberpunk and The Sims, I kept deleting and copying mods but didn't clear my trash. What should I focus on during the CPU tests? Should I check if performance is below expectations or if my system experiences crashes?
OCCT will discard errors or cause the system to fail. Prime95 (stability check - Small FTT or Blend) will halt threads if a problem is found or the system risks freezing. Cinebench provides scores that can be compared to other CPUs, and it may crash if issues arise. Samsung Magician and WD/Sandisk tools have detected problems and released firmware updates.
Sorry for the delayed reply. I completed the quick tests without finding any issues. Today I’ll be doing the longer ones. For the Samsung drives, it turned out they required firmware updates—something I wasn’t aware of. I tried the update, but it didn’t finish properly. I left it running for roughly five hours before returning to the login screen. It seems the update didn’t automatically restart my PC, and I ended up with a blue screen because the process failed. Regarding OCCT, it logged thousands of CPU errors. Unfortunately, my PC crashed near the end, so I’m uncertain where the results were saved. I managed to capture a screenshot before it crashed. I also ran Cinebench and attached the findings. Lastly, I tested all my other storage devices using different utilities: Seagate SeaTools, WD Drive Utilities, and SanDisk Dashboard. All short tests passed without problems.
My cousin has a Ryzen 9 3950X with the same socket as my 3700X. It should be possible to source it, though it may take some time.
