Phone details: Android Mi-A2 OS version 10, official Xiaomi support. Occasional random micro-freezes or delays appear without clear cause. Sometimes freezing starts when I press the power button to turn on the screen or when I tap something, causing a long press that feels irritating. It also happens when I use the power button to open the camera, especially during gaming sessions where the virtual joystick doesn't respond as expected. Freeze times typically range from 0.5 to 1 second. Frequent notifications from the "Play Games" app can slow down the phone during gameplay. Anyone have any advice or fixes for these issues?

You probably checked Mi A2 lite when you saw Snapdragon 625. Mi A2 (regular) uses Snapdragon 660.

Interesting, while browsing the A2(non-lite) it didn<|pad|> a thing didn't mention Android 10 support. The 660 is only slightly more capable than the 636, so the old comment still applies. It's not really the device's issue—it's Android 10 not being well optimized for anything beyond flagships. Android 10 also needed about 6GB RAM, but the G7+ only offered 4GB and the A2 comes with 4GB on most models, except the top tier. Yeah, it makes sense to check a CPU monitor app to gauge how close you are to the latest specs. Right now I'm running Android 11 and other activities are using up about 5.24GB.

I attempted to download it, but it looks like you already have it. Could be a simple question—how do you confirm you're near the latest version and what steps might help if there are still issues?
