I completed everything, attempted to set up the latest driver, but it failed again. I’ll install it manually from the program files. My second monitor remains black.
There’s another problem at play if you can’t just apply the usual drivers. Assuming DDU was used properly, this still occurs. I’d consider reinstalling Windows—it would likely be quicker and simpler than trying to pinpoint the exact issue, though it might help if someone here shares a useful tip. I’ve encountered similar GPU driver installation issues before; it’s frustrating.
I installed the driver myself, but I’ll think about a clean Windows install next time if the issue returns. This year I’ve already done it twice, so I’ll try not to repeat that. My Wi-Fi is acting up—can’t confirm if I used DDU correctly even with the guide, honestly. Thanks for the support! I really hope I never have to go back to this thread again.
I hope the drivers you installed manually resolved your problems here, and a clean install would be a good next step if it persists. Many of us are ready to assist when needed, and I'm confident you're not foolish—if this is unfamiliar territory, it's likely you're unsure what to do. Should wiping the drivers at least address the issue, please indicate @Alinz suggestion (of DDU) as the answer.
