FPS - Internet connection and ping are stable; GPU drivers are up-to-date across all titles. Performance issues include stuttering, teleportation, difficulty switching weapons with multiple attempts, and in-game banging sounds when entering vehicles as if hitting something. Missiles are firing erratically in random directions. Problems were observed in Battlefield 4 and appear in every game.
The warning indicates your connection is experiencing spikes in latency. Your ping isn't consistently high, but it rises temporarily. You're likely on Wi-Fi, and other devices might be using the same network.
Thanks for your note. I tried testmy.net and it worked fine. The spikes seem intense—maybe something is interfering. I haven’t connected any new devices to my network lately.
It might be due to your internet connection or your ISP experiencing problems, especially if you're posting now. Since you're sharing this recently, it's likely you recorded during a busy period or in the evenings when many people are online. Such internet issues often happen during peak times. You can run a command in Windows—like "ping -t Your.Routers.IP.Adress"—to check for high ping from your PC to the router or between your router and the server.
Hey, I'm still learning. I had some network problems recently and accidentally swapped the Ethernet cable from my ISP modem/router into the WAN port on the router I used as an access point. The access point was set up behind my monitor and just plugged it back in without checking. After that, I tested with testmy.net and everything worked fine.
Now you need to determine if that resolved the issue, and then maybe enjoy some gaming if everything was this straightforward.
