Multiple copies of a game running on a single computer
I have a powerful machine with a GTX 1080, 32 GB RAM, and an i7 6800K. My girlfriend enjoys watching me play CSGO and has shown interest in the game. Her setup isn’t fast enough for smooth performance even at low settings. I’m considering creating a virtual OS on my second monitor, complete with separate keyboard, mouse, and headphones. This would let her play alongside me without needing another device. Is there an affordable and practical solution? I want to avoid spending much on software, especially since we’re on a tight budget. The reason I own these upgrades is because of my job.
The straightforward response is yes no. Mainly because the tools needed are designed for business settings and come with a significant cost. You'd also need at least two GPUs.
Most people agree two gaming PCs are the way to go, though it’s not inexpensive. You’ll also need a second graphics card. A 1050Ti can handle CSGO well and costs about £120, which is significantly less than buying another machine.
