Multiple BSODs appearing with varied error codes, replacement of hardware hasn't stopped the issues!
Hello everyone, I constructed this system about two years ago and have remained stable until recently. During that period I didn’t make any changes, which might be contributing to the current problems. I’ve experienced frequent BSODs and black screens during idle sessions and gaming. The crashes seem random—sometimes right after turning on the PC or after hours of play. I can’t finish an OCCT test because it usually freezes or triggers a crash within about a minute. The error messages include SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, error code 41, and irql driver issues. As noted, my machine occasionally just displays a frozen screen while the fans and system stay active. I have one large dump file (about 1MB), though I haven’t had access to previous backups since reinstalling Windows. So far, I’ve tried several fixes: reinstalling Windows, formatting drives, double-checking cables, ensuring temperatures are normal via hwinfo, updating GPU drivers, disabling fast reboot, turning off XMP profiles, adjusting RAM settings, replacing both RAM sticks, and upgrading the motherboard. With the previous motherboard, I encountered startup errors claiming only one RAM was detected and that heavy use would cause a crash. My current specs are: AMD Ryzen 3600 CRYORIG H7 MSI MAG B550M, 2x8 DDR4-3200 (also tested Corsair Vengeance LPX), Samsung 970 Evo 500GB M.2-2280 EVGA KO ULTRA GAMING, GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, cooler master MWE Gold 550W (80+ Gold). I suspect a power supply issue might be the cause, though I’m still learning about PC systems. Thank you for any advice—I’ve been searching online and feel overwhelmed trying to solve this alone.
