Multiple BSOD occurrences
I assembled a machine for a family friend and they've experienced strange BSODs. They mentioned random crashes every few hours with varying error screens. My usual fix was a fresh Windows install, running it continuously for 24 hours without issues, after which they returned it and reported the problem again within a day. My guess is either a faulty hardware part or electrical issues in their home, like power surges or drops. Another odd point is they keep plugging 10-20 external HDDs into USB hubs, but I doubt that would trigger this pattern. Over a year now, this seems to persist. If it were a defective component, the problem should have worsened or stopped completely. BSODs include: memory management (most common), bad pool caller page fault, corrupted nonpaged area, faulty hardware, corrupted page, kernel security check failure, system thread exception, Ntfs.sys failure, security check violation, watchdog DPC breach, critical structure corruption, file area corruption, and memory write errors. Specs: Windows 10 x64 pro, 3-year-old desktop, AMD Ryzen 5 3600, GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1650, EVGA 650 PSU, Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2TB, ASRock B450M PRO4 motherboard. They wish to build another system and leave the broken one, but until then, I lack access to perform deep diagnostics. I'm hoping someone can suggest tests once I have the machine.
The CPU seems unstable (possibly due to lack of overclocking), otherwise RAM might be faulty.
