I have MSI Z790 Tomahawk DDR4 Wi-Fi i7-13700F, contact frame Thermalright FC140 DDR4 2400, four 8GB modules (Kingston, Silicon Power, Micron OEM) PNY RTX 3060 HP PCIe 3.0 x4 512GB NVMe 600W Cooler Master power supply. I notice a yellow light in the EZ Debug area at the DRAM spot. When I reset it, the debug LEDs alternate between yellow (DRAM) and red (CPU) for a short time before returning to yellow for DRAM. There are no beeps or video output. Removing memory triggers a long beep. I’ve tested one module at a time from the four available in DIMMA2, following the labels and manual instructions (to be filled out first). No difference when swapping modules. Pressing the CMOS reset button powers off the system; keeping it on for 15 seconds has no effect. I flashed the newest BIOS via USB using the BIOS flash button on the back, as per the manual. The LED indicator lit up, blinked, then turned off after a few seconds. Memory appears intact from my old system, GPU and NVMe are confirmed good, PSU is working fine, and the CPU cooler is still in place. Any suggestions?

The motherboard had issues, it was defective. I swapped it with a matching one. Likely the memory slot problem this model faces is common. I’m curious about the reason behind that, maybe the socket bends or BGA fails beneath the chipset... Probably I won’t discover the truth.
