Hello everyone, I'm working on fixing a boot problem with this older computer. It used to run but now sits unused. After setting it up, it won't power on at all. The fans seem to be acting strangely—CPU fan spins, then stops and restarts. I've checked several things: unplugged SATA and NVMe drives, reset the CPU and RAM, tried using only an IGPU with no display, connected a dedicated GPU via dash line, and listened for two long beeps with a pause. The machine has specs like Z390 Plus 32GB RAM, ASRock A380 GPU, and several case fans. I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong.

Are you certain only two beeps were recorded, or could there have been three longer ones? Also, does the circuit have a debug LED visible?

If i remove the gpu then no beeps but also no video from igpu. Cause when you press power button it turns off instantly. Even with the nvme plugged in which has a copy of windows on it

Checked if the GPU needs reinsertion. Looking for alternative GPUs to test. Confirmed the GPU is the main concern.
Are you using a different processor model in your system?

Without the GPU, the system fails to show anything on the IGPU, which is unexpected. This should be mentioned clearly. I don’t have any other GPU options available.

I don't have a system to check directly, but you can find out your CPU model and specifications by checking your computer's settings or using manufacturer tools.

All issues resolved. System started smoothly with just one dimming and no GPU required. Updated BIOS, filled all dimming slots and GPU, and successfully booted with a display showing the GPU.
