Hello, Is there anyone with an MSI Z390 A Pro ATX LGA1151 board that has a maximum of 128GB RAM? If yes, did you require a BIOS update or any special setup before using 32GB RAM DIMMs? If not, would you like suggestions for boards that work with 4x32GB sticks without extra steps? CPU: Intel Core i5-9400 2.9 GHz RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (1x32GB) DDR4-2666

You're questioning why someone would choose such a large RAM amount for an i5 processor. It seems like a poor choice, but it should function properly out of the box, even though the i5 only supports up to 2666 MHz.

Here’s a more specific example: When I tried using the app, it actually opened the feature I needed without any issues.

So honestly, that’s a bit disappointing. Looking at the specs for both the motherboard and CPU, it should be fine unless there’s a faulty RAM chip or a bad memory controller in the RAM slot. I can’t give any guarantees, after all—life’s unpredictable!
