Hi.
I put together my new pc today after giving my g3258 oc system to my parents.
I was really hoping to overclock the i5 6400 by upgrading the bios and changing the block ratio but every time I boot it just goes back to 100!
Has anyone achieved a stable non-k overclock using the MSI z170 A Pro?
I'm using E7971IMS.191 as the bios, not sure if there is a better one?
Any help appreciated

The settings seem excessively unstable. Have you attempted a minor OC such as a 1MHz tweak initially? Were you able to reduce the RAM speed correctly? Which RAM model are you using?
