I just learned about issues with using 3600MHz RAM. I was planning to upgrade to a 16GB 3600TRIDENT Z Neo, but if I can't reach that performance, why buy the board anyway?

They use Zen 2 CPUs. X470 boards have been reviewed before Zen 2, and many prefer keeping speeds around 3466MHz or lower, with careful timing and manual adjustments being essential.

Some people suggest using XMP profiles for the crosshair speed, while others find them unusual. I don’t think I’d need PCIe Gen 4, even though Wi-Fi 6 sounds appealing. I’m feeling uncertain—my Asus boards have been reliable all my life, but I want something with a bit more functionality without breaking the bank. Is there anything an X470 board can’t handle besides PCIe Gen 4 in terms of Zen 2 support?
