New PC remains unresponsive after multiple assembly attempts. Issues persist despite RMAing several components. The motherboard and CPU have already been replaced, yet the problem continues. Recently rebuilt, the PSU produces a strange grinding noise. The only consistent indicator of operation is the flash BIOS light illuminating when the button is pressed. Specifications include a WD_BLACK 1TB NVMe SSD, Z690-A motherboard, Intel 12600k CPU, Vengeance DDR5 RAM, and a Corsair 4000D airflow case. The PSU is MSI MPG A750GF, but plugging it into the motherboard causes a loud grinding sound. I haven’t switched PSUs since receiving the new parts from Newegg, though I want to mention the CPU box condition for reference. I plan to test another PSU today but will check for any notable feedback first.

The noise could be coil whine, which isn't necessarily a big deal but it's worth verifying with another power supply. The case looks worn out, though it might still function. The safest way would be to test the CPU in a stable system to confirm it works. Regarding the motherboard, check if there are any LED indicators or debug lights—those aren't always visible. Also, try booting without the CPU, RAM, or GPU to see how it behaves. Good luck!

Currently, I’m unable to test another motherboard with the new Intel socket because it doesn’t support that type. The board includes EZ debug, but nothing has activated it. I haven’t tried without the CPU yet, so I’ll attempt that next. Thanks!
