Hello, your MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi is expected to arrive today. Many reviews mention overheating VRMs, but since you won’t be overclocking and you have a 3800X motherboard, it should still be fine. You’re good to go unless you notice any issues.

The tier list indicates it can manage slightly above a maximum of 3700x, which should work. It should cope well with that, although it isn't the most affordable choice in terms of price.

It should handle it. Anything meeting the 12-core requirement and around 150A of current will put it through its paces, but it’s manageable.

I’d like to retain the MSI X570 but only need full confidence it works.

It will manage it well, just avoid excessive overclocking. If you wish to adjust the settings, you can refer to the links provided for more options.

I sent back my gaming plus with the identical problem for a MAG B550 Tomahawk. If you wish, I strongly suggest purchasing this board.

The Asus TUF Gaming x570 offers excellent value for its cost. It outperforms the MSI Gaming Edge significantly.
