Avoid checking your BIOS version by opening it directly and looking at the label in the upper-right corner that displays "Bios Version."

It's best to simply refresh your BIOS to the newest release prior to making changes. Over the past three years, there've been significant enhancements for AM4 motherboards, including added CPU capabilities and improved reliability.

MSI's BIOS release timings often differ from the official website dates by around a week for various reasons. For example, the BIOS A.90 on my Z690 Unify-X shows a build date of 1/10/2023 in CPU-Z, but the site lists it as 1/16/2023. The exact cause isn't clear, possibly due to upload delays or internal scheduling differences.

Updated title now appears in the bios section at the top.
