I built a new AM5 system and am trying to boost my memory speed. I have four DDR4 RAM sticks at 6000MT/s, but I can't push it beyond 3600MT/s. Here are my specs: motherboard MSI Mag B650 Tomahawk, CPU Ryzen 9700X, 64GB Corsair Dominator RGB RAM at 6000MT/s, GPU 3080, and all SSDs with Corsair RM1000 power supply. I have the power and know AM5 doesn’t support quad channel, so I’m focusing on overclocking for better stability.

Expo isn't functioning properly; it attempts memory training but I've left it running for over an hour without success.

Using four DDR5 modules is extremely challenging for Ryzen 7000 and 9000 processors running at 6000Mhz. It might be feasible with just two sticks, which is why we're moving toward 2x48 GB RAM modules.

You're facing the challenge. Four DDR5 modules are famously tough to get stable at good speeds, so it might need a mix of chance and careful adjustments. Unless you really need the extra storage, take out those two additional sticks and send them back. Also, provide exact part numbers so we can check timing details and clarify if you're looking for 4x16GB for a 64GB module or two separate 64GB units, which would mean 4x32GB—hard to get functional above ~4400 MHz without significant work.

I’m focusing on getting the best possible performance without aiming for the entire 6000.
