I was looking into an article about PC building and came across a suggestion: “Only purchase parts from well-known brands with a solid reputation.” I’m curious—does MSI fall into that category of trusted companies, or is it one of those with questionable history that should be avoided? There are many manufacturers out there, and some don’t produce reliable components, like the ones people warn against buying PSUs from because they might harm other parts or cause more problems. If you need advice, any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I’m keen to ensure I get my components from dependable sources.

They're all good, I've dealt with many MSI main boards and GPUs in the past, each having its own small problems, but nothing worse than other brands.

Alright, understood. I'm concerned about purchasing from unknown manufacturers because I recently bought a Great Wall PSU and received warnings against using it.

I’d give it a thumbs up, the only great wall I’ve heard about is the terrible Chinese food place right next to my house.

That’s why I aim to choose parts from trustworthy manufacturers known for delivering top-notch products. Up until now, I’m familiar with EVGA, AMD, Corsair, NZXT, Nvidia, Cooler Master, and Gigabyte. However, I wasn’t certain if MSI was among those brands where I could confidently purchase and install components in my system.

I suggest using GPUs you purchased a refurbished GTX 960 with 4GB of memory about two years ago. You haven’t treated it well, yet it functions just like new.

I was thinking about using motherboards instead of GPUs, as reputable brands typically offer dependable components across their products—not just a few. EVGA and Corsair are the companies I rely on the most. Excluding Intel, Nvidia, and AMD.

Renowned mainboard manufacturers include MSI, Asus, AsRock, Gigabyte, Evga and others specializing in niche options. For graphics cards, notable names are Gainward, Zotac, Palit plus AMD and Nvidia directly. Trusted PSU brands are Corsair, Asus, Thermaltake, be quiet!, Seasonic, Gigabyte, Cooler Master, NZXT, Sharkoon, EVGA, among many more. This overview isn't exhaustive but offers a solid sense of what to consider.

Are you sure? It seems like you're asking about Corsair's product range—specifically, whether they offer a full line of their own items or if you meant something else like motherboards. Do they produce motherboards as well?
