I understand your situation, but upgrading your monitor is out of the question. You still need a graphics card that can handle 60Hz refresh rates smoothly during intense gaming sessions. The GTX 960 should work fine with ultra settings on the most demanding titles.

For a top-tier 1080p or better display, consider a 970…980… series monitor or one of AMD’s next-gen graphics cards.
