My board has an MSI MPG x570 with a BIOS Gaming boost button. Pressing it seems to set the CPU speed to a fixed value around 43.76 MHz, which is lower than the typical factory range of 4.7–4.8 GHz for Ryzen 5800X. This might be intentional overclocking or a BIOS setting affecting performance. The cooler isn’t a concern here, but the behavior is odd. Overclocking the CPU usually doesn’t affect the GPU directly unless both are tied to the same voltage or controller settings.
It doesn't require MSI, but it appears to enhance all cores and disable C1E and C-States. Avoid overclocking the graphics card unless you confirm otherwise... PBO at 200MHz with a negative v-core offset is typically the common overclocking method.
