i've had this msi mobo for a while. recently i installed two new ram sticks and tried the "game try it" utility. it caused my pc to crash severely. i expected the new ram sticks to be the issue, but then i noticed a cyan screen of death and kernel errors. windows wouldn't load properly, and the usb boot failed too. after turning it off, everything worked fine. does this problem occur only with my system, or is "game try it" really problematic? thanks.

The top search result for "Game Try It" seems to indicate some performance issues. MSI mentions this feature is aimed at users seeking better gaming performance without deep knowledge of DDR timing adjustments. It suggests focusing on XMP or DOCP settings and ensuring they match your RAM specifications for optimal results.

It's a disappointment though—it felt like a major leap in gaming speed.

It seems the marketing team is exaggerating the benefits. If you want to adjust RAM beyond XMP/DOCP settings, do it manually. This gives you full control and lets you see exactly when you go too far before needing to revert changes.
