Hey there, I'm feeling a bit confused too. I attempted an upgrade using the CPU listed in the title, but the system won't start. It's showing a black screen, fans spinning, no error sounds or audio codes, and the DEBUG LED on the CPU stays lit with a white light. So far I've done: updated BIOS to the latest version, reset CMOS using the pin method (without removing the battery), replaced the old CPU to check if the board is damaged, and installed my current RAM, power supply, and graphics card. It seems compatible with older CPUs could mean a DoA issue. I also faced challenges when moving to Zen3, since my first 5800X stopped working shortly after installation.
