I haven’t sent the old board yet, and I placed an order with another supplier. Could you clarify if the board needs to be handled through an RMA?

I used it with a 650 EVGA silver rated unit, and the same outcome occurred.

Ensure warranty via MSI. Run tests using another PSU. If the problem persists across two boards and two PSUs, update the BIOS on one unit.

Give the BIOS flashy update a go—it's simple and clear. Keep in mind the BIOS changes you're applying to your system. On the MSI page, thoroughly check the Agesa code update bios details. The latest BIOS might reduce support for older chip models. This is why B450 boards can run into issues. The BIOS only handles a limited amount of data, making it unsuitable for processors from three generations or more, especially after Zen 3 comes out.
