Hi everyone, I'm trying to update the BIOS on my B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC using M-Flash. I downloaded the newest version from MSI's official site and placed the unpacked file on a USB stick. I unplugged it from Windows, turned off the PC, and entered BIOS settings. I chose M-flash, which told me to restart and boot into Flash Mode. After restarting, the screen went black. I'm a bit nervous because I don't want to make any mistakes. Should I restart the computer? Should I clear the CMOS? Could I try flashing the BIOS with MSI Flashback? The fans are running, lights are on, but the EZ Debug indicators aren't lit.

Verify the monitor connection at both ends, making sure it’s secure. I recall something similar from December 2018—I didn’t have power, so I performed a CMOS reset.

Confirmed the monitor link - no adjustments needed. Removed CMOS, system is operational but remains using the previous BIOS edition.

I faced the same issue. It turned out my monitor used DisplayPort, while the MSI BIOS supports both DisplayPort and HDMI. However, the M-Flash tool only functions with HDMI. That’s a frustrating bug from MSI...
