MSI Afterburner - temperatura máxima retorna ao valor padrão de 83°.
Hey guys, I'm having trouble with my Zotac GTX 1050 Ti OC. After setting the temperature limit to 97°C, it only stays at that setting for a short time before reverting to the default 83°C when another profile is applied. Even though I saved the 97°C limit in all my presets, it resets back to 83°C. Is there a way to prevent this automatic reset and keep the temperature at 97°C permanently?
You understand that keeping your video card below 85°C won’t hurt it, but it will limit your FPS and can harm the components if you go too high. MSI is stopping you from pushing it too far because you’re unsure about how your software and hardware are interacting.
It seems you're not fully understanding the limits involved. Raising them will provide your GPU with extra room (for pascal cards) to overclock more, boosting performance. Going beyond these limits won't harm your hardware if temperatures stay within range. You're just trying to give them more space to run at their best. I'm here to clarify how to keep the 97°C limit intact, not to explain something you already know.
Well, aside from that, I’m just trying to assist. It’s worth noting that GEFORCE lists the GPU chip’s maximum temperature at 97°C, but other parts of the video card can’t reach those levels. Therefore, considering these limits, it seems unlikely you’ll be able to hit this "overhead" you’re looking for. Also, they’re connected because raising the voltage to overclock the GPU can cause regulators to overheat. Ref: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 & 1050 Ti Review
