Hello there!
I'm trying to find the right info but it's hard to locate. My understanding is that MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision X are considered top choices for overclocking due to unique features not found elsewhere. Are you thinking about power limits or something similar? I'm also considering getting a 2080 Strix mainly because of the cooler temperatures compared to other cooling solutions, but I might also look at the MSI trio X for better software and a lower price.
Hmmm...
Thanks in advance!

You can adjust fan speeds using MSI afterburner, and for modifying the lights, you should rely on GPU tweaks for the ASUS card. These two tools perform similar functions, so you have the option to choose either.

MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision X can be used with any GPU brand. You don't have to purchase an MSI card; it will function on other GPUs like the ASUS Strix 2080.

It's accurate, but using GPU Tweak for other tasks like fan speeds and lighting would require running it alongside GPU tweak and MSI Afterburner at the same time. Is that a smart approach?
I’m not sure what those features are—I’ll look them up a bit more... thanks!
