Hi,
I've overclocked my GPU using MSI Afterburner and created two profiles. The first uses default settings, while the second has the overclocked values. Every time I restart, MSI loads the OC values profile. I want the default profile to always use it, and the OC profile only during gameplay. I set the 2D/3D profiles to launch the OC profile, but it runs even when I'm not gaming. I also tried EVGA Precision, but it crashes. Could you help me?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards!

On MSI afterburner you will notice this. Uncheck it for the OC profile and check it for the default profile then click the lock so it locks. Next, go into settings, click the arrow to navigate to the right, locate profiles, assign a hotkey combination for your gaming profile, and press OK. Then execute that combination before launching your games (make sure afterburner is active for the hotkey to function). But as mentioned earlier, "why not keep it overclocked" – assuming it's stable.

Wouldn't it be better to keep everything running at maximum speed? The core clock and voltage won't reach their limits unless you're actively gaming.
