I own an R5 3600, just installed a new build today. I migrated my SSD without a clean install and now want to check my core usage, but it only shows 4 cores—those were from my i5 6600K.

Start with the default processor limit. Navigate to MSCONFIG, select the BOOT tab, and adjust the Advanced button settings. A dropdown will appear with options—default is usually active, but it might have been changed recently. Alternatively, confirm your current setting to ensure accuracy.
That's the idea, right? Just another perspective. Windows 10 MSCFG matches the same style but includes a '10' in it.
