MSI 970A G43 mosfets
Hello,
I have this board with a Phenom II X4 965 BE that I've overclocked to 3.8. Now I'm trying to overclock an X6 1090T BE and need to install a MOSFET heatsink. I can purchase a dead MSI 970A-G46 for 10 euros, which includes the heatsink. Would you think that using the heatsink from the G46 will fit properly and help me safely overclock my new CPU?
It really resembles that scenario. The main concern seems to be the placement of the power transistors relative to the thermal pads. However, comparing the two board images side by side confirms it appears correct. The 43 model includes heat sink mounting holes precisely where needed. Likely the same board is being referenced.

Ivanator confirms the purchase and will share the outcome.
Everything looks fine. Remember, you can always purchase separate heat sinks for the MOSFETs.

I faced the same issue, did the heatsink resolve it? Did it fit properly?
